Raiders coach Jack Del Rio went for two at the end of last Sunday’s game against the Saints and Michael Crabtree caught a pass from Derek Carr that gave Oakland a win.

Their chances of getting another win this weekend improved with another gamble by Del Rio. After a pair of Derek Carr incompletions left the Raiders with a fourth down from the two-yard-line with the Falcons leading 21-14 early in the fourth quarter, Del Rio opted to go for it.

Carr dialed Crabtree’s number again and the veteran wideout came through with a touchdown. Del Rio didn’t push his luck from there, settling for an extra point that tied the score at 21.

The tie was short-lived, however. Julio Jones reeled in a deep shot from Matt Ryan for a 46-yard gain and Justin Hardy found his way to a tipped ball in the end zone to put the Falcons back up 28-21 with 9:29 left in Oakland.
