Raiders briefly tie it at 21, Falcons jump back on top

Raiders coach Jack Del Rio went for two at the end of last Sunday’s game against the Saints and Michael Crabtree caught a pass from Derek Carr that gave Oakland a win.

Their chances of getting another win this weekend improved with another gamble by Del Rio. After a pair of Derek Carr incompletions left the Raiders with a fourth down from the two-yard-line with the Falcons leading 21-14 early in the fourth quarter, Del Rio opted to go for it.

Carr dialed Crabtree’s number again and the veteran wideout came through with a touchdown.┬áDel Rio didn’t push his luck from there, settling for an extra point that tied the score at 21.

The tie was short-lived, however. Julio Jones reeled in a deep shot from Matt Ryan for a 46-yard gain and Justin Hardy found his way to a tipped ball in the end zone to put the Falcons back up 28-21 with 9:29 left in Oakland.

Our Raiders defense stinks, got to be the worst in the NFL right now, i hope they start to gell before it’s to late. Fire Ken Norton, our guy’s weren’t anywhere near their receivers, and our defense was always out of position!
