Rams and Seahawks exchanging shots, field goals

The Rams clearly wanted to make a statement after last week’s embarrassing¬†shutout loss to the 49ers.

And they’re taking it out on the Seahawks, particularly quarterback Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks just kicked a field goal to tie the game 3-3 early in the second quarter, but the game has been a hard-hitting one so far.

Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree was just flagged for hitting a sliding Wilson, and there have been a number of hard shots. Wilson doesn’t appear to be himself, but he’s out there after last week’s ankle injury, and the roughing the passer penalty set up their field goal.

You figured the Rams defense would stiffen after last week’s display, and so far they have. Whether their offense allows them to compete remains to be seen.

No surprise the Rams D would be embarrassed. But that D always plays Seattle weak OC game plan tough. OC Bevell does not know how to exploit the weaknesses of any team. Still, it’s early…

You just wait seven years, and two more Jeff Fisher extensions. They’re grooming the next Peyton Manning under the great Case Keenum. LA just needs to be patient. Meanwhile they can watch a dirtbag defense.

Midget Wilson has a bullseye on his jersey but he is so tiny that it is hard for a defender to hit the target squarely, even when he has limited mobility. The midget’s ankle may heal, but his O line troubles won’t.
