Ravens creeping back, but Browns hold 20-12 halftime lead

After spotting the Browns a 20-2 lead thanks to a defensive no-show early, the Ravens are creeping back in it.

They trail at halftime, 20-12. Joe Flacco threw a touchdown pass to Mike Wallace in the second quarter, then an Eric Weddle interception set up a Justin Tucker field goal just before the half.

The Browns scored on three big plays in the first quarter, two of them Josh McCown to Corey Coleman touchdown passes and an 85-yard touchdown run by Isaiah Crowell. The Ravens only gave up 65 yards rushing in their Week One win over the Bills.

McCown briefly was taken to the locker room to have his non-throwing shoulder examined late in the first quarter but returned to the game the next time the Browns had the ball. The Ravens have the momentum and get the ball to start the second half.

20-19 now. The Browns are a clown organization. How do you allow 17 unanswered points…with the #1 pick the Browns take…

Great job by the Ravens to fight back when they were down 20-0.

What does it say about a team that can go down 20-0 against the Browns? And need a bad call at the end of the game to squeak by? I guess it explains why bbbwindows isn’t here bragging up the Ravens anymore.
