Brock Osweiler pops up on Houston’s Monday injury report

The Patriots aren’t the only team playing on Thursday night with an injured quarterback. The difference, however, between Jimmy Garoppolo and Brock Osweiler is that Garropolo didn’t practice with a shoulder injury on Monday, and that Osweiler fully participated with a back problem.

Osweiler is one of 15 Texans to appear on the Monday injury report. Not practicing were tackle Duane Brown (knee), linebacker Brian Cushing (knee), and receiver Braxton Miller (hamstring). Limited in practice were defensive end J.J. Watt (back), guard Jeff Allen (calf), cornerback A.J. Bouye (shoulder), tackle Chris Clark (elbow, ankle), linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (foot), cornerback Kevin Johnson (thumb), punter Shane Lechler (back), tackle Derek Newton (knee), and running back Jay Prosch (back).

Full participants were Osweiler, defensive end Christian Covington (groin), and linebacker John Simon (wrist).

For the Patriots, linebacker Dont’a Hightower (knee) and cornerback Eric Rowe (ankle) didn’t practice. Guard Jonathan Cooper (foot), defensive end Trey Flowers (shoulder), and tight end Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis.

Garropolo, who has an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder, isn’t expected to start on Thursday night, but it’s possible he’ll dress as an emergency option who would hand off only, in lieu of giving that assignment to receiver Julian Edelman.

Bet he wishes he was still a Bronco.

He’s going to beat the Broncos in Denver in the AFC divisional round.

He’s 2-0, plays on a good defensive team in a crappy division……oh yeah and they backed up a truck full of money for him.

I’d say he’s at peace with his decision. I would be

They tried to take an MRI, but The Stork doesn’t seem to have a backbone.

My Dolphins just played in 2 real loud stadium, I hope the fans in Miami Gardens got the message, be loud when the visitors are on offence, and be quite while T-HILL is calling the plays.Bill

O’Brien should’t try to play this game with Belichick. He invented it.

Do Broncos fans know that they don’t win a SB last season without Osweiler?

Smart Broncos’ fans realize that but we also realize that overpaying a relatively inexperienced QB to the tune of $18M/year creates an imbalance that would have made it HARDER for the Broncos to remain competitive (let alone resign Von Miller).

Just wait until he plays against that Broncos defense.

Bronco fan is like middle school kid. “I didn’t like that girl anyway”.

SB champs and they spend more time trolling Osweiler than enjoying their championship.

One more fact…. Bert has thrown 3 ints Trevor the same, difference is we played 2 elite teams, both first round qbs ,with a defence to match,560.000 trev is another one of many diamond’s in are arsenal of pure power, gotta love it, broncos country-world wide

If Broncos fans are so over Osweiller, why do you constantly whine about him so much?

    ___________

Yes we know. He played 6 games and parts of 2 others. In those games he never put 2 halves of football together in one game. He had 3 good halfs in all. The first half against early San Diego game, second half against your boys, and the second half against Cincy. And I don’t know how a 6’8″ qb keeps getting balls batted down at the LOS but he had more than usual. He was serviceable but unremarkable. We appreciated his role but anything more than $12 mil plus incentives was too much. Especially if it meant no CJ, no Sanders, no Ware and no Marshall which would have been cap casualties.

So yeah we know. We’re good.

Dude are you nuts? Denver has the longest sellout streak going back to 1975. The wait list for season tickets is 63,000 strong. I waited 12 years for my name to come up for nose bleed seats. I don’t even live in Denver right now but I bought them because I’m not waiting another 12-15 years for another shot. Peyton walked into the best fan base in the NFL and the best home field advantage in the NFL for at least the 35 years Pat Bowlen has owned this team.

Google it and get a clue.

For some bizarre reason, I once actually respected the Broncos, and their fans. Then their QB left. I now realize that they’re a bunch of whining band wagoners. No wonder he bailed. Im looking forward to JJ and co eviscerating your anemic offense while Os guides his team to a victory in your own house. That victory is going to be sweet. Shutting up the Mike High whiners will be sweeter.

Two elite teams with a defense to match? You played THE COLTS dude, wake up. Hahaha, an elite defense to match, yeah ok buddy. Remember when they made Blount look like Barry Sanders, you mean THAT elite defense?

Enjoy your trophy, it was earned last year, but lay off the legal Plant out there
