One of these days there’s going to be good news about the Browns and no one is going to know how to react.

Today doesn’t seem to be that day.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Browns defensive end Carl Nassib suffered a broken hand yesterday and needs surgery to repair it. It’s unclear at the moment how much time he’ll miss.

The third-round pick has shown some flashes in the early going, and they needed him to play a bigger role this year with Desmond Bryant out for the season. But it appears he’s going to miss some time now, as the avalanche keeps going downhill in Cleveland.
