Letroy Guion sprains MCL, might only miss one week

The Packers are going to be without defensive tackle Letroy Guion for at least a week. But it might just be the one.

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, Guion suffered a sprained MCL in last night’s loss to the Vikings, though he thought he avoided a more serious injury.

“I’m still able to walk and bend it,” Guion said. “I should be all right soon.”

The Packers benefit here from an early bye in Week Four, so Guion might just miss one week.

He’s one of the top run-stoppers on the team, and the Packers held the Vikings to 30 yards on 22 carries last night.

I hear it’s getting warm and stale in Packers HQ.

    Somebody closed the window.

I hope Letroy will be back soon. I always like to root for all the former Vikings the Packers snatch up when the Vikings are done with them.

It will be fun to see the Vijequeens hat obliterated in Carolina next week.

What do you call a Packer fan with a sheep under his arm?

If it’s one week it’ll be two.
Wk four is the Pack’s bye.

I hope Letroy is back sooner than later. I hate to see injuries for players of any team.

Just because he wasn’t good enough to play for a Zimmer defense in MN doesn’t mean that he’s not good enough to start for the Packers.
