The Eagles’ defensive line threw the Bears’ offensive line out of the way on Monday night’s opening drive, then Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz threw the ball just about wherever he wanted to on his team’s first drive.

The Bears tightened inside the 10 and held the Eagles to a field goal and a 3-0 lead.

Wentz was 8-of-9 passing for 45 yards on his first drive and completed passes to five different receivers. Wentz threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns in his NFL debut.
