The Broncos are bringing back veteran safety Shiloh Keo.
Keo was released by the Broncos last week after serving a two-game suspension stemming from a DUI arrest. Now, he’s back and will have a chance to win a role as a special teams player and backup safety similar to the one he played during last year’s playoffs.
Keo had been out of the league for more than a year before signing with the Broncos last December and playing in six games, four in the regular season and two in the postseason. He recovered the onside kick that helped the Broncos seal their AFC Championship Game win over the Patriots last January.
For his career, Keo has played in 46 games. He started 11 games for the Texans in 2013.
To make room for Keo on the roster, the Broncos waived undrafted rookie defensive tackle Kyle Peko.
