Donte Moncrief out 4-6 weeks

Colts Coach Chuck Pagano told reporters Wednesday that wide receiver Donte Moncrief’s shoulder injury is a fractured scapula and that Moncrief will likely miss 4-6 weeks.

Pagano said the injury will not require surgery, and with proper rest and rehab the Colts could have him back by midseason.

Moncrief was injured during last week’s loss at Denver. He has seven catches for 73 yards on the season, and without him the Colts will need more production from 2015 first-round pick Phillip Dorsett.

Earlier Wednesday, the Colts signed wide receiver Devin Street off of the Patriots’ practice squad.

That’s a damn shame, he seemed poised for a breakout year.

Tough break for Indy. Sure Dorsett will be just fine, but if the line can’t block and the defense can’t stop anybody it won’t really matter. Grigson has set this team up for nothing more than mediocrity.

This could be a blessing in disguise for Grigson. Two years ago when the entire league knew to run against the Colts’, Grigson selected a wide receiver with the Colts’ first pick. Last year Dorsett had 18 catches for 225 yards in 11 games which is poor production for a first round pick. Dorsett has 5 catches in 2 games this year. Maybe now he can boost his numbers and make Grigson not look like such an idiot in making him the Colts’ #1 pick.

#DeflateGate Karma 4 Irsay & Grigson Continue’s. Luck should’ve left when he had the chance. Worst organization in the NFL.

SUCK4FORNETTE has started early. The owner and GM there have done a terrible job building a team.
