Six days after escaping serious injury when he was tackled by his facemask in a win over the Bills, Jets receiver Brandon Marshall remains injured.
He didn’t practice on Wednesday, with the team identifying both foot and knee problems. PFT reported on Sunday that Marshall has a sprained MCL, even though coach Todd Bowles told reporters last Friday that Marshall is “fine.”
Equally alarming for the Jets was the absence of receiver Eric Decker from practice, with a shoulder injury. Decker has said that he’ll be able to play on Sunday against the Chiefs.
Running back Matt Forte, another star of last Thursday’s game with 100 rushing yards and three touchdowns, was limited in practice with a knee injury.
And let’s not forget about budding star Quincy Enunwa; he was listed with the designation “ribs.” However, he fully participated in practice.
