Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick said he hopes to improve on last season.

Last week, it looked like he was onto something.

Fitzpatrick was named AFC offensive player of the week after leading the Jets to a 37-31 win over the Bills last Thursday.

He was 24-of-34 passing for 374 yards and a touchdown, spreading the ball around effectively, with three receivers over 90 yards. He also broke a personal slump against the Bills, having lost eight of his nine last games against Rex Ryan defenses.

And now he has an award to commemorate it.

And the Jets were trying to sign him for premium back up price locked in at $8 million per year for 3 years. And a number of people on here were cheering the Jets on. Unreal. Too bad the Rams or Browns didn’t jump in because they both have decent talent a competent QB could help improve on.

Seriosuly? We all know how this ends. Fitz is a mediocre journeyman. He is surrounded by tremendous talent that played a weak Bills team. Let’s proclaim his greatness when he wins against good teams or doesn’t have an INT meltdown in a game that really counts.

Yea, he looked amazing last week. Hope he keeps it up and the mistakes down. If so, we could win a few games this year, compete.

Is this the same Ryan Fitzpatrick the Bills got rid of to go with EJ Manuel?

Weird that a Phins fan is still throwing shade at the Jets when your team is off to a terrible start yet again. Jets look decent this year.
