Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon had a warrant issued for his arrest on August 31 after failure to respond to subpoenas in a paternity suit in Cuyahoga County.

According to Pat McManamon of ESPN.com, Gordon has now complied with the order and the warrant has since been rescinded.

Gordon had been compelled to submit to a DNA test to determine whether he is that father of a now 1-year old girl. The mother filed the suit seeking child support from Gordon.

Gordon’s attorneys released a statement through the Browns saying he was unaware of the request by the courts until being informed on Wednesday.

“Mr. Gordon immediately made himself available to the Court when he was informed that his presence had been previously required,” attorneys Kevin Spellacy and Walter Edwards wrote in a statement. “He attended court [Wednesday] and a hearing was held.”

The league said Wednesday that the issue would not having any effect on Gordon’s status in regards to reinstatement following his four-game suspension to start the year.
