The Texans are struggling to figure out the Patriots’ defense. There hasn’t been much offense on either side, and the Patriots hold a 10-0 halftime lead.

All 10 points came late in the first quarter. The Patriots kicked a field goal, Texans defensive back Charles James fumbled the ensuing kickoff and Duron Harmon recovered for the Patriots. After a penalty, Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett ran 27 yards for a touchdown.

The Texans got to the 50 once but have not crossed it. The Texans had the ball for more than 17 minutes but haven’t mustered much besides a bunch of short passes.

The Texans also got intercepted early in the second quarter. The Patriots have been content to run the ball, run the clock and play good defense.
