Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown raised his fist during the national anthem before Thursday night’s Texans-Patriots game.
Players across the league have made similar gestures early this season in protest of social inequalities and police brutality. Multiple Eagles players did the same before their game last Monday night in Chicago.
The CBS broadcast showed Brown with his right fist raised as it came back from a first quarter commercial. It wasn’t shown live.
Brown, a three-time Pro Bowler, is inactive Thursday night. He’s still recovering from a quad injury he suffered in Week 17 last season.
