Odell Beckham fined $36,000 for blindside hit on Kenny Vaccaro

To the extent that the officials and the league office already were planning to keep an eye on receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Sunday against arch-nemesis Josh Norman, they’ll likely be watching him even more closely based on something that happened a week ago.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that the NFL fined Beckham $36,000 for a blindside block on Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro.

That’s halfway between the first-offense fine of $24,000 and second-offense fine of $48,000, with Beckham’s history surely a factor in the increase over what would be the fine for a first-time blindside block.

This kid is a punk and that’s why I will always root for Norman in this battle.

Maybe he’ll pick up another one before the Giants and Packers play. The Packers like to lose to teams without their best players.

The dudes a punk. Undoubtedly the best in the game right now. But the worst in character.

The league gives this little tidbit to Glazer BEFORE TODAY’S GAME? Never seen that before…

The saints lost but Beckham was held in check by the famous saints cornerback Sterling Moore.
He acted like a punk the whole game though, believing that he could just show up and dominate.

Yeah the league loves letting Beckham Offensive PI all day long… Just because he made a circus catch a couple years back that most WRs make at one time or another he’s the second coming. Beckham is really not that great as the NFL (refs) make him out to be lol

    _________

I guess Julio Jones sucks too, since he only had one catch for 16 yds vs the Saints.
