Another lightning delay for Buccaneers

Getty Images

For the second week in a row, the Buccaneers are going to have to wait to finish.

But unlike last week, this isn’t close.

The Buccaneers and Broncos were just taken off the field because of lightning in the Tampa area, and fans were told to leave the seating bowl of Raymond James Stadium.

Last week, they had to wait 69 minutes to finish the last 2:00 against the Rams, but it was close. This week, the Broncos are up 27-7 with 6:52 left.

Should not have been called. The same storm hit where I am at first, and there is zero lightning.

It wasn’t even raining yet at the game!

This will be a two hour delay at least.

Might want to build a roof on that stadium.

If only the owner of the team had money to do it 😉

A 69 minute wait to watch Tampa’s qb run around in the final seconds just waiting to be tackled… What a doofus!

At least the outcome is already decided in this one…

Denver rookie is holding his own pretty well, especially not practicing with the 1st team last week.

Nobody will be in the stands. The Bucs might as well just forfeit. I really hope my Panthers can beat them next Monday night.

The Bucs suck. Move the team so we don’thave to watch these bums on TV
Let the crappy QB Winston become a fisherman for crabs.

At least they aren’t risking a Super Bowl in that weather. The game is too important…

At least they aren’t risking a Super Bowl in that weather. The game is too important…get real, Tampa has played host to 4 SB’s, two in that stadium (2001, 2009).
