Injuries mounting with Cardinals leading 13-10 in fourth

The Rams and Cardinals have both lost players to injuries in a second half that’s seen little scoring.

Cardinals running back Chris Johnson and safety Tyvon Branch are both questionable to return after suffering groin injuries and Cardinals linebacker Deone Bucannon also was shaken up during a Rams possession in the fourth quarter.

On the Rams side, safety T.J. McDonald was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion and has not returned. Wide receiver Brian Quick also left the game after hitting the turf hard while trying to catch a pass. It was a fairly clear incompletion as Quick lost the ball when he hit the turf, but coach Jeff Fisher challenged and lost to run his record on reviews of pretty obvious incompletions to 0-2 on the day.

The Cardinals lead 13-10 with 8:26 to play. Their efforts to add to the lead have been hindered by a pair of fumbles. Quarterback Carson Palmer and running back David Johnson have both lost the ball while the Rams have hurt themselves with penalties that have wiped out a couple of second half scoring chances.

Remember when Cards fans thought they were Super Bowl contenders and that Arians was a genius?

Good old Greggy’s got the boys head-hunting again. Looks like the Cards are trying to get some back.
