The Rams are off to a good start in their attempt to join the Seahawks as 3-1 teams in the NFC West.

Wide receiver Brian Quick caught a short pass from Case Keenum, broke through Cardinals cornerback Marcus Cooper’s attempted tackle and jetted 65 yards for a touchdown with 1:59 left in the first quarter. It was the first scoring play of the game and leaves the Rams up 7-0 in Arizona.

The Rams got the chance to set up the play for Quick when Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson was penalized for holding on a third down play that saw Keenum scramble short of a first down. The penalty was the first of the game for the Cardinals.

Arizona’s offense is still looking for their first first quarter points of the season. Their first two drives produced 46 yards, four first downs and two punts.
