San Francisco linebacker Navorro Bowman exited today’s game with an injury.

It was a non-contact injury, with Bowman simply falling and grabbing the back of his ankle. That’s never a good sign.

Bowman was able to get up and walk off the field, but he had to be assisted and appeared to be in pain. He was later carted to the locker room.

Bowman has a track record of recovering from injuries before, having suffered a gruesome knee injury in the NFC Championship Game following the 2014 season.

Nick Bellore replaced Bowman in the 49ers’ defense.

Non contact injury, holding back side of his ankle. I can only pare it is not what it looked like… Achilles. If it is I hope he retires he has given enough of himself to the niners.

Should never have given him that massive extension. He’s on the decline.
