Paxton Lynch still in game, Gerald McCoy won’t return

It appears Paxton Lynch is going to finish this one up for the Broncos, but it’s unclear if the Buccaneers are going to have enough people to.

The Buccaneers have ruled defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and defensive end Noah Spence out with injuries, and were already without defensive end Robert Ayers, who was inactive with an ankle injury.

That, for the moment, is offsetting the Broncos own injury problem.

Quarterback Trevor Siemian hasn’t returned since leaving in the second quarter with some degree of left shoulder injury. He was replaced by Lynch, who has led a pair of scoring drives.

The first-rounder’sĀ first two full series chewed up nine plays and 16 plays, burning clock as the Broncos hold a 20-7 lead. Siemian is apparently only available for emergency handoff duty the rest of the day, as he’s the only other active quarterback. Third quarterback Austin Davis is inactive today.
