Steelers take advantage of fumble to take 8-0 lead on Chiefs

The Steelers have their familiar faces back, but needed an unfamiliar event to take an early lead.

The Steelers just took an 8-0 lead on the Chiefs, with Ben Roethlisberger hitting Darrius Heyward-Bey for a touchdown and Markus Wheaton for the two-point conversion.

They took advantage of a short field after Chiefs running back Spencer Ware fumbled. It was Ware’s third fumble of the season, after previously being reliable with the ball.

Running back Le’Veon Bell was back from his three-game suspension, but hasn’t carried the ball yet. He’s caught two passes, as the Steelers know they have another productive back in DeAngelo Williams on hand.

Do you think if the Rap$ts weren’t scheduled for a prime time game they would have reduced the drugies suspension to 3 games?
