Trevor Siemian carted off, Paxton Lynch in game

FILE - In this Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, file photo, Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian (13) looks to pass during the second half of an NFL football game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati. Siemian is 3-0 as Denver's starter and is coming off a historic performance in Cincinnati, where he became the first quarterback to throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns without an interception in his first road start. The Broncos have had to go to their first-round pick sooner than they anticipated.

Starting quarterback Trevor Siemian was just carted off the field after being slammed onto his left shoulder, with the Broncos up 14-7 on the Buccaneers.

Siemian was taken down by Bucs defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, landing hard on his non-throwing shoulder.

Siemian’s rough landing led them to turn to rookie Paxton Lynch, whose first pass was incomplete. He got a chance to run the two-minute drill, and looked reasonably comfortable working out of the shotgun, leading them to a field goal for a 17-7 lead.

I seem to remember a certain Broncos fan calling Big Ben a little girl cause he got carted off after a shoulder injury. What was that I just saw?

How about I leave comments similar to what people said about Cam Newton, like…
“Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy”

Well I won’t because I have class….hope he’s ok. With that said this is a opportunity for Paxton Lynch, but it bites because he was playing so well.

Too bad. As a Browns fan, I’m NOT sympathetic.

Pray for a speedy recovery…oh wait, that would be weird, right Darin?

If it was Camilia there’d be screaming for fines.

The way the Broncos defense is playing I’m not sure it matters who’s playing QB.

the Bucs are a horrendous football team. Do they even have a secondary? Every broncos receiver is open with a 5 yard cushion.

Kubiak is gonna win a game with his backup rookie QB? OMG. He’s the greatest ever. LOL. Fans are such morons. Kubiak will be 9-2 without the great Peyton AKA Noodle Arm/ Mr. HGH

Looks like Lynch intends to keep the job.

  13. bullogne says: Oct 2, 2016 6:57 PM

For those not watching this game, Lynch has looked as good as Siemian has.
At some point media and fans outside of Denver will start giving Super Bowl winning coach Kubiak some credit.

Lynch 14/24 170 yds, 1 TD, 0 ints in less than 2 qtrs of action.

The broncos won a super bowl with the equivalent of “weekend at bernie’s” for a qb last year. They’ll be fine considering that defense is unreal

I start Siemian then he gets injured. Figures.
