Bradford, Rudolph connect for 14-0 Vikings lead

Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford has been sharp, and his team has a 14-0 lead over the Giants in the second quarter.

The Vikings scored first after a gift via a Dwayne Harris fumbled punt. In the second quarter, Bradford found tight end Kyle Rudolph on a slant route for a 7-yard touchdown.

Rudolph has now caught a touchdown pass in three straight games. The Rudolph catch capped a nine-play, 65-yard scoring drive. Bradford was 5-for-5 on the drive.

The Giants punted on each of their first four possessions and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t have a reception until the fifth. Soon after, Beckham got flagged 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct for taunting Xavier Rhodes.

  1. Beckham has passion, and wants to be great. Those are good attributes of a teammate. But his emotions get the best of him. Was suspended last year for a game, and this year he’s already been beat up by a kicking net, and now getting into it with rhoads! I would not want that guy on my team! Talent is endless, but his attitude makes him completely unreliable! He needs some help to learn to get his emotions in check.

  2. Beckham is turning out to be a mixed bag for the Giants. He has talent but he’s turning into a total diva and his production so far has not been anywhere near what his talent is. He needs to grow up.
