Colts cut Antonio Cromartie, Sio Moore

No coaches lost their jobs in the aftermath of a Week Four loss in London this season, but a couple of Colts starters will be looking for work elsewhere.

The Colts announced that they have released cornerback Antonio Cromartie and waived linebacker Sio Moore. Both players started all four games for the 1-3 Colts this season.

Cromartie had 14 tackles and two passes defended in his time with the Colts, which began in late August after a rash of injuries to the Colts cornerback corps. Moore made 30 tackles for the Colts and also played 12 games for the team last season.

Both players were disappointing this year, something that can be said of the Colts defense overall as it ranks 30th in points allowed and 24th in yards allowed. They’ll hope that the replacements in the starting lineup can get things moving in a better direction against the Bears in Week Five and in the weeks to follow.

Vontae Davis is back now, and he played a great game. Don’t really need Cromartie. The rest of the patchwork secondary has played surprisingly well, but Davis really gives them a boost. Not surprised to see Moore cut loose either. He kind of looked like a fish out of water in pass coverage. I think this is a good message to send to the team. I’m not sure the Colts are finished making changes. The rookie from Texas, Hassan Ridgeway has played like a monster. Henry Anderson is back now and looking stronger than ever. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Colts go on a big run.

Never been happier to see a guy cut than this lowlife Antonio Cromartie who goes overseas and disrespects our flag and national anthem. This piece of human filth has played his very last down in the NFL whether he realizes it or not. Good riddance

Grigson is a personnel genius! How does he keep his job, is Irsay perpetually drunk or what?

    That fixes everything!

Now extend Pagano & Grigson for 10 years! Keep this train rollin’!

Colts gave Raiders a 6th round pick for Sio Moore which was used to pick LB Cory James who has been solid in his first two starts as a rookie in the middle. Beauty…

I still remember Sio Moores sack celebration when he was in Oakland that cost them a timeout. He was off celebrating 20 yards offsides and the game wasn’t over lol. Fun times.
