Dallas police have reportedly wrapped up their investigation into Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib’s gunshot wound in June, and concluded Talib shot himself.
That has been widely suspected since shortly after the incident, and now Rebecca Lopez of WFAA TV reports that police have wrapped up their investigation and concluded that Talib shot himself.
As PFT reported last month, no one who was in a position to see what happened was willing to talk to police, so the investigation has been quiet. The NFL has not ruled out disciplining Talib under the personal-conduct policy, but there has been no indication that a suspension is planned.
Talib suffered only a minor injury to his leg and has started all four games for the Broncos this season.
