The Falcons are running out of linebackers, and may have to go to the discard pile for some help.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Falcons have some interest in former Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk.

The positional need is clear, with four linebackers injured to varying degrees.

Sean Weatherspoon is out for the season after tearing his Achille last week against the Panthers, while Paul Worrilow (groin), De’Vondre Campbell (ankle) and Deion Jones (calf) are also hurt.

Hawk started 11 games for the Bengals last year and worked out for the Dolphins recently, but hasn’t found a landing spot this season.

Whether it’s Hawk or someone like him, the Falcons are probably going to have to make a move there soon.
