The Bears still don’t want to put a timeframe on wide receiver Kevin White’s recovery from his latest leg injury.
But it’s going to be at least eight weeks.
General Manager Ryan Pace just told reporters White was being placed on injured reserve, per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
Pace said White had a severe high ankle sprain which resulted in a fractured fibula. They don’t know if he’s going to need surgery to repair the damage, and want to continue to gather medical opinions.
White, last year’s first-round pick, missed his entire rookie season with a stress fracture in his leg.
