Washington continues to turn over their defensive line, getting rid of another veteran free agent acquisition.

According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, the team released defensive lineman Kendall Reyes.

The former Chargers second-rounder was signed this offseason, and had just returned from a groin injury.

They also cut veteran lineman Stephen Paea earlier this season, shuffling the deck up front for a team that’s 29th in the league in total defense.

Scot McCloughan has proven that he’s a legit GM over his career, but I do wish the D-line was addressed more seriously last year. I get taking Doctson in the 1st to replace either DJax or Garcon when they walk is forward thinking, but Kirk isn’t worth $20M next year and that money needs to be used on the D line.

Good. Hopefully they bring back Pot Roast to fill his roster spot.

Further proof that the DC has no idea what he’s doing. You are telling me Bozo Barry didn’t lobby to sign this guy from the team he sucked at coordinating before? Please. I see they may sign Donte Whitner to this roster spot. Fine, we are short at safety, but how many less bodies can we have on the DL and not expect to keep getting gashed?

The Redskins should pick up Gabe Wright who was just cut by the Cleveland team.

Pot Roast is not the answer-PERIOD- instead of losing 25 lbs. last year he gained 35 and had migraine headaches, and did not play that well. The GM new this at the end of the year as well as Pot Roast new he was not coming back, blame this on the GM
