On Tuesday’s PFT Live, producer Rob “Stats” Guerrera said something dumb. And while that dynamic isn’t noteworthy given the frequency with which it happens, the degree of dumbness struck more of a chord with me than usual.
In discussing the possibility that the 3-1 Cowboys will get even better later in the year, Stats called Tony Romo a “top five” quarterback. I strenuously objected. And so he revised his position to “top seven.”
I still objected (not as strenuously), but he opted to stand firm. So I told him to list his top seven quarterbacks. I did the same. And then we compared our lists.
