Will Fuller won a game for the Texans, and a little honor a few days later for the effort.

The Texans rookie wide receiver was named AFC special teams player of the week after helping his team beat the Titans with a 67-yard punt return.

Fuller also had seven catches for 81 yards and a touchdown, as he makes himself more a part of the offense as well.

The first-round pick from Notre Dame has proven a quick study, and he’s the fourth rookie in the last 15 seasons to score a punt return and receiving touchdown in the same game, joining Tavon Austin, T.Y. Hilton and Dez Bryant.

Picked this one for no particular reason to say this…..does anyone actually care about these picks of the week from the league? Seriously, I really want to know what the point of them is. High School level, sure…stroke the kids ego…but pro-football? Why?

not bad for his first and only play on special teams this season, to return the first kick he catches.
