Report: Dez Bryant will test knee Friday, still “unlikely” to play Sunday

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is “unlikely” to play Sunday vs. the Bengals, NFL Network reported Thursday.

Though the report said Bryant plans to test his injured knee in practice on Friday, the expectation is that he’ll miss at least one more game.

Bryant missed last week’s win at San Francisco and has sat out both practices this week. Bryant is dealing with a hairline fracture in his knee but wasn’t ruled out of last week’s game until the Cowboys submitted their inactive list 90 minutes before kickoff.

If he gets some work in on Friday, that could mean he’s on schedule for return even if he’s not quite ready for game action. Earlier in the week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that he thought Bryant could get some work in Friday and that the team would know more about his status then.

In the meantime, they figured out they can win with a guy making 1/20th as much in his position.

…unless he misses Friday’s practice, and a few team meetings, and God knows what else…

Leave him on the sideline, this game is most likely a L either way. Going to be the first real defense they’ve faced this season.

    Let him get healthy.

Whether its Dak or Romo when we get past week 6 we need Dez in the game to draw double teams.
