The Bills officially activated defensive tackle Marcell Dareus on Friday.
Dareus served a four-game suspension to start the season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. He had returned to the team earlier in the week on a roster exemption, and the activation means he’ll be available for Sunday’s game at the Rams.
Dareus, 26, is a two-time Pro Bowler. He’s in his sixth season with the Bills.
The Bills created a roster spot for Dareus by placing wide receiver Greg Salas on injured reserve. The loss of Salas is another blow to an already depleted receiving corps; Sammy Watkins was placed on injured reserve last week.
