Joey Bosa should debut this weekend

The Chargers haven’t had much go right for them early this season as a slew of season-ending injuries to key players and three blown fourth quarter leads have been the main storylines of the year.

On top of all that, they haven’t had the third-overall pick of the draft in the lineup yet as defensive end Joey Bosa has been inactive all four weeks thanks to a hamstring injury that limited his involvement in practices since he finally signed his rookie deal. That absence appears set to end this weekend.

Bosa is not listed as questionable, doubtful or out for the matchup with the Raiders, which means the Chargers expect him to play on Sunday. It will be the first game for Bosa since Ohio State played in the Fiesta Bowl on January 1.

The Chargers will be without safety Jahleel Addae, cornerback Brandon Flowers and linebacker Nick Dzubnar. Tackles Joe Barksdale and King Dunlap join tight end Antonio Gates with questionable tags.

  1. Too little too late ! 30+ years of Spanos failure … I’ve had a enough, move to LA already ! Or better yet sell the team to someone who can afford to build their own stadium geez !

  2. Chargers Mount Rushmore plus one:

    1. Dan Fouts
    2. Ladanian Tomlinson
    3. Natrone Means
    4. Billy Ray Smith
    5. John Jefferson

  3. I”m really hoping that Bosa lines up for his ‘welcome to the NFL’ moment across from the left side of our O-Line. KO is mauling people and Penn should have a little something extra for him as he grew up a Raiders fan and loathes the Chargers almost as much as the rest of the Nation. Both of these gentlemen are anything but that this season.

Phyllis ALWAYS plays all out against us and I expect this game – despite the injuries on Offense – to be close due only to the whiny fire and sheer will he brings. Bosa, however, will NOT be a factor in any positive way to the outcome of this game for the powder puffs.

    ONE NATION!

  4. He is about to go up against the best O-line in the game. This could be confidence shattering, or him Shatting himself going up against Penn, Osemele, Hudson and Jackson. Put him on the right side against Alexander and he still won’t sniff Carr.

  5. Who cares about Bosa, all he cares about is money. You’re a rookie, maybe try doing something on the field for team and teammates before you start acting like you’re the next Von Miller!

  6. Choo Choo….Chargers Super Bowl express, just got the caboose on the tracks….welcome kid….now you get to play against men – – – -Penn, Osemele, and Jackson is about a half of ton of a wall….Good luck.

Go Raiders……derail that train! (btw, where is dumbolt?)

Hey! We don’t want the Chargers here in LA, and we’re certainly not giving one single red cent of public money to the NFL and billionaires for a stadium. Find some other sucker city like Vegas or San Antonio or London.

You forgot Stan Humphries, the only QB to actually take the Chargers to a Super Bowl.
