The Chargers haven’t had much go right for them early this season as a slew of season-ending injuries to key players and three blown fourth quarter leads have been the main storylines of the year.
On top of all that, they haven’t had the third-overall pick of the draft in the lineup yet as defensive end Joey Bosa has been inactive all four weeks thanks to a hamstring injury that limited his involvement in practices since he finally signed his rookie deal. That absence appears set to end this weekend.
Bosa is not listed as questionable, doubtful or out for the matchup with the Raiders, which means the Chargers expect him to play on Sunday. It will be the first game for Bosa since Ohio State played in the Fiesta Bowl on January 1.
The Chargers will be without safety Jahleel Addae, cornerback Brandon Flowers and linebacker Nick Dzubnar. Tackles Joe Barksdale and King Dunlap join tight end Antonio Gates with questionable tags.
