Titans-Dolphins will proceed as scheduled

WEST PALM BEACH, FL - OCTOBER 06: Kevin Forde (L) and John Haughey put up plywood on a window as they prepare for Hurricane Matthew as it approaches the area on October 6, 2016 in Miami Beach, United States. The hurricane is expected to make landfall sometime this evening or early in the morning as a category 4 storm. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images) Getty Images

With the Miami area avoiding the brunt of the hurricane, Sunday’s NFL game will proceed as planned.

It’s official; Titans-Dolphins will commence at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Attendance at the game could be diminished by the evacuations and other issues arising from the storm. However, the storm wasn’t bad enough to force the delay or relocation of the game. If nothing else, the game could provide a welcome diversion to several days of worry, stress, and efforts to prepare for a storm that didn’t affect South Florida as badly as it could have.

“Attendance at the game could be diminished by the evacuations and other issues arising from the storm.”

But there may still be more in attendance than what I saw at Levi last night…especially between the 40s on the lower level, it seemed like 2 of every 3 seats were empty.

Also, it’s the Titans and Dolphins.

No doubt all 2500 dolphins fans are relieved the Toilet Bowl will be played as planned.

Once again the MSMedia lied and exaggerated for ratings and influence.

It really is amazing if you pay attention to the details and results of predictions how wrong and biased the media are shown to be.

“I’m not sure if I’ll have electricity, water, or food for the next week. Let me spend $10 on a beer and $12 on a hotdog at a football game. That seems prudent.”

How can this storm be that for the area if they are allowing the game

Power will be up by end of day the power company says. Less than 3000 affected in Miami area.

Rock-paper-scissors between coaches to figure out who ‘wins,’ then let Mariota sprain his knee in the parking lot on skateboard or something, and basically same results as playing game but without all the trouble and paperwork.

It was never going to be that bad for Miami, which is why they never cancelled it. They were only under a Tropical storm warning.

That’s 1500 more than the patriots had before 2001. Of course they went through 30 years of losing and Dolphins are only going on 15.

With all the bad news about the hurricane and if the game will be moving somewhere else I been waiting to learn, good news, the game is on, however was hoping for some positive comments, didn’t happen. if you don’t have power and you complain about the price of hotdogs, then stay home, you think they will lower the price because you complain, forget about it. bill

I thought everyone would stay home and watch our Tom Brady in his return at Cleveland?
Please don’t say Shady either, its quite hurtful.

Brady plays for the Patriots, not your lame team.

You have to be really insecure as a fan, and as a person in general, to make believe you are a fan of a team, even when everyone knows that you aren’t.

remember when the NFL was tough. Back in the 1970’s this game would never have been in doubt. Goodell is babying the league.

Patriots have more rings and the best two QB’s in the division, must be rough to have Tannebum as your so called franchise QB. Just admit you love the patriots
