Colts defensive tackle Arthur Jones is back on the 53-man roster today, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll be on the 46-man roster tomorrow.
The Colts activated Jones off the commissioner’s exempt list following his four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
However, Colts coach Chuck Pagano said on Friday that it would be tough to play Jones Sunday against the Bears when he’s only had a week of practice. It’s unclear whether activating Jones today indicates that Pagano thinks Jones will be good to go tomorrow.
Jones has had a disappointing tenure with the Colts since signing with them as a free agent in 2014. He missed all of last year with an ankle injury.
