Coty Sensabaugh gets $4.5 million for four games with the Rams

It’s good work if you can get it.

Cornerback Coty Sensabaugh, signed by the Rams after Janoris Jenkins defected for the Giants, received $4.5 million fully guaranteed in March. The Rams cut Sensabaugh on Saturday, four games into his three-year deal.

Sensabaugh’s roster spot was filled by defensive end Morgan Fox, elevated from the team’s practice squad.

The former Titans cornerback started the first two games of the season for the Rams. Sensabaugh was inactive for Sunday’s win at Arizona.

Sensabaugh received a $3.5 million roster bonus and a $1 million fully-guaranteed base salary. He becomes a free agent, again.

He was terrible in Tennessee. Their GM is a idiot.

Their number one draft pick turned out to be a bust while Wentz and Prescott are tearing up the league. Now this??? . Everyone is pointing fingers in this front office.

He was such a big-time playmaker in Tennessee, hard to understand how this went wrong…..Thank God they’ve still got Jeff Fisher

But hey, the Rams are “contenders”…. mark my words. 3-1 is going to be forgotten quickly. Two months from now they’ll be lucky to have 5 wins.

Oh crap, I guess under your scenario of not playing the first 1/4 of a rookie year constitutes a ‘bust’… where does that place Aaron Rogers who ‘sat out’ 3+ years.

Just maybe it’s a littttttlllle early to call him a ‘bust’?

One problem. Rogers sat out behind a Hall of Famer.

And how did you come to the conclusion that Goff is a bust without seeing him play?Maybe you should stop cleaning glasses and become a clairvoyant?

They don’t need DB’s the way they take out QBs. I wonder where that stems from.

I can respect a team that cuts an underperforming player regardless of what their salary or cap hit. It allows another guy who may be more hungry to contribute to the team.

That’s petty theft compared to Kaepernick getting $16 million for squatting on the ground for a few minutes and showing his pig socks once a week.

Rams front office has been inept since they forced out Charley Armey. A glaring record of signing free agents and miserable draft picks that never live up to the hype. Rams fans deserve better.

  21. manipuraram says: Oct 9, 2016 8:46 AM

I am a big Rams fan. But Snead has flat out made a lot of mistakes. If he had handled things with more perspicacity the Rams could be starting Sam Bradford at quarterback, Janoris Jenkins at cornerback and Rodney McLeod at Safety today . Plus they’d have their first two picks from this year and next. Wide receiver anyone? He’s getting a pass. But shouldn’t be.

    Can’t believe Fisher/Snead isn’t an option on Nov. 8th

Maybe the Jets should look at them, since their secondary is college level.
