The Colts offense is moving a little better, and they can always rely on Frank Gore.

The veteran running back hit a milestone early, and Andrew Luck’s touchdown pass to Dwayne Allen has given the Colts a 10-3 lead.

The Colts needed a fourth-and-goal conversion for the score, as their offense has moved in fits and starts, but is at least moving at a pace surpassing the Bears. They’ve used more no-huddle today, quickening the pace for Luck in hopes of keeping him upright.

But for the real bright spot, Colts running back Frank Gore passed some guy named Jim Brown for ninth place on the league’s all-time rushing list.

Gore entered the game with 12,293 yards, and slipped past Brown (12,312) with a 16-yard burst late in the first quarter.

The 33-year-old has a chance to pass Tony Dorsett (12,739) this season, with an outside chance at catching Eric Dickerson (13,259) this year.
