Broncos Coach Gary Kubiak was taken to a Denver-area hospital after Sunday’s loss to the Falcons.

The Broncos said Kubiak is suffering from flu-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Team spokesman Patrick Smyth wrote on Twitter that Kubiak is currently being evaluated.

Kubiak suffered a mini-stroke in Nov. 2013 when he was head coach of the Texans. He collapsed at halftime of a game vs. the Colts and has said since that he’s made some lifestyle changes and has felt fine.

The Broncos, who lost a 23-16 game to the Falcons Sunday, play at the Chargers Thursday night.
