The Raiders keep missing opportunities and failing to finish drives. They trail the Chargers, 7-6, midway through the second quarter.

They’ve twice settled for field goals after first and goal situations and also missed a 50-yard field goal after a Sean Smith interception.

The Chargers capped a 60-yard drive early in the second quarter with a Philip Rivers strike to a wide open Tyrell Williams that covered 29-yards and made it 7-3. The game started with the teams trading turnovers, but both offenses have come alive.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has thrown for 128 yards. With Latavius Murray out, Jalen Richard has gotten the bulk of the running back work early.

Chargers guard Orlando Franklin left the game with an ankle injury but has remained on the sideline.
