The Ravens made a change in the backfield last week, leaving Justin Forsett inactive before cutting him a few days ago.
The three running backs that are now on the roster all had a hand in giving the team an early 7-0 lead over the Redskins. Terrance West made the biggest play, bursting through a hole created by left tackle Alex Lewis and left guard John Urschel and running for 35 yards on a third-and-one. That left the Ravens in the red zone and they capitalized on a seven-yard touchdown pass to tight end Crockett Gilmore.
Buck Allen rushed twice for nine yards on the drive and rookie Kenneth Dixon got his first regular season touches with a run and a catch that accounted for seven more yards to move them down the field. Joe Flacco was 4-of-4 for 26 yards overall on the way to the end zone.
