The Ravens opened Sunday’s game with the Redskins with a makeshift left side of the offensive line due to left tackle Ronnie Stanley’s absence.
They opened the second half with a makeshift group on the right side as well. Right tackle Rick Wagner hurt his thigh on the final play of the first half when the Ravens tried to throw a pass rather than take a knee. Joe Flacco was sacked, but Wagner’s injury was the costlier loss.
Marshal Yanda has moved to right tackle with Ryan Jensen in at right guard. Wagner will not return on Sunday.
The Ravens couldn’t move the ball behind that line on their first drive of the second half and a poor Sam Koch punt left the Redskins with the ball at midfield. Kirk Cousins threw a 21-yard touchdown to Pierre Garcon three plays later to take a 13-10 lead.
It looked like the Ravens would be back in the lead a short time later when linebacker C.J. Mosley picked off Cousins and returned the ball to the foot of the end zone before fumbling. The ball bounced out of the end zone, though, and the Redskins got the ball back on their own 20-yard-line after the touchback.
