Trevor Siemian inactive for the Broncos, as expected

The Broncos were selling the notion that quarterback Trevor Siemian could have come in last week to be their emergency quarterback, even after the injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

He won’t be able to do that today, as he isn’t in uniform.

Siemian leads the Broncos list of inactives for today’s game against the Falcons, leaving first-rounder Paxton Lynch to start (#asexpected) and Austin Davis as his backup.

Also inactive for the Broncos are tight end Virgil Green, guard Connor McGovern, safety Justin Simmons, tackle Donald Stephenson, linebacker DeMarcus Ware and cornerback Kayvon Webster.

For the Falcons, linebackers Deion Jones, DeVondre Campbell, and Paul Worrilow lead the list, along with offensive linemen Mike Person and Wes Schweitzer and tight end Joshua Perkins.
