No Diggs, no problem.

With star wideout Stefon Diggs scratched due to an injured groin, Adam Thielen stepped in and stepped up with two catches for 59 yards and a touchdown on a first-drive effort by Minnesota that has put the Vikings up, 7-0.

Primarily a slot receiver in the first four weeks of the season, Thielen’s catches came from the Z position on the right side of the lineup.

The drive covered 84 yards in eight plays, following a kickoff from linebacker Brian Peters of the Texans pinned the Vikings inside the 20.
