The Buccaneers are playing good defense and dominating the time of possession.

They just can’t score touchdowns. The Bucs lead the Panthers at halftime, 6-0, despite having had the ball for nearly 22 of the first 30 minutes and forcing two turnovers.

Three times the Bucs have been in the red zone and have two field goals to show for it.

Panthers kicker Graham Gano missed a 43-yard field goal on the final drive of the first half. Gano is 8-of-11 on the season.

Neither kicker is especially popular right now. Buccaneers kicker Roberto Aguayo missed a 33-yard field goal off the upright in the second quarter but made a 35-yarder late in the first half. He’s now 3-of-6 on the season.

Jameis Winston is 9-of-14 for 85 yards. Jacquizz Rodgers has 17 carries for 71 yards.

Panthers quarterback Derek Anderson, playing in place of the injured Cam Newton, is 9-of-12 for 126 yards and an interception.
