The Buccaneers are out to an early 3-0 lead over the Panthers thanks to an impressive opening drive and a quick defensive stop.

The Bucs got the ball first and chewed up more than half of the first quarter before settling for a Roberto Aguayo field goal. The opening drive lasted 15 plays and covered 58 yards.

Jacquizz Rodgers carried the ball 10 times on the opening drive. He’s playing because Doug Martin is injured and the team had to place Charles Sims on injured reserve. Jameis Winston was 3-of-4 passing for 23 yards.

A Mike Evans drop on third down forced the Bucs to settle for a field goal.

Miss watching a game on Monday night… NFL needs to put winning teams that are interesting to watch in prime time and leave these lesser teams for local area TV!
