Getty ImagesSteelers defensive end Cameron Hewyard will miss 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury, NFL Network reported Monday.
That would be considered good news for the Steelers. Heyward needed an MRI Monday after he was injured in Sunday’s game, and the 2-3 week timeline indicates Heyward avoided major injury.
Barring a miraculous recovery, Heyward will miss a start for the first time since he was drafted in 2011. Heyward has three sacks this season. He had seven sacks last season.
He left Sunday’s win over the Jets in the first quarter.
The Steelers are at the Dolphins this week, then host the Patriots, then have a bye week before playing at the Ravens Nov. 6.
Rest up for the second half Cam. Next man up. Vince Williams is playing very well in place of Shazier and I expect the same from Hargrave
he is the lone good defensive lineman. outside of moats at lb, it is slim pickens for colbert with the draft yields of late.
brady and the pats offense will end up putting up 40.
Oh my bad Cam Heyward. I bet he likes donuts too.
don’t you worry,He be back for Pats game
He wouldn’t that one
steelers fans can be delusional at times
steelers fans can be delusional at times
good thing pats fans are always so perfectly grounded then….
You knew a Pats fan had to comment. They hate Pittsburgh for some unknown reason. I’ve never seen a fan base win so consistently but be angry the entire time. Stephon Tuitt is a very good defensive end by the way.
