Packers running back Eddie Lacy isn’t practicing today, and it’s unclear if he’ll be ready to go against the Cowboys Sunday.
Lacy had to leave Sunday night’s win over the Giants because of a sprained left ankle and didn’t return, and they’re still trying to determine what he’ll be able to do this week.
“We’re still evaluating some things,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. “We’ll see how Eddie moves around today in the rehab.”
The Packers are ill-equipped to deal with his absence, as they have just one other running back on the roster, veteran James Starks. They carry a fullback (Aaron Ripowski), but would likely have to make a roster move if Lacy is unable to go.
