The Redskins have won their last three games, but their chances of extending it to four in a row could be impacted by tight end Jordan Reed’s availability.

Reed did not practice on Wednesday and coach Jay Gruden said after the session that Reed is being evaluated for a concussion. Gruden said, via Rich Tandler of CSNMidAtlantic.com, that Reed reported symptoms to the team on Tuesday.

Reed has battled a variety of injuries over the course of his career, including several concussions. Those injuries have been more effective at stopping Reed than opposing defenses, which have given up 120 catches for 1,268 yards and 13 touchdowns since the start of last season.

If Reed is diagnosed with a concussion, he’ll face a short window to get cleared in time to face the Eagles this Sunday. Vernon Davis and Niles Paul are the other tight ends on Washington’s active roster.
