The Ravens claimed guard Billy Turner via waivers from the Dolphins Wednesday.

Turner’s help is needed immediately. The Ravens practiced Wednesday without tackles Ronnie Stanley and Rick Wagner and guard Marshal Yanda due to injuries.

Turner was forced to start at left tackle last Sunday for the Dolphins after Laremy Tunsil suffered a pregame injury. It was a disaster for the Dolphins as quarterback Ryan Tannehill was sacked six times, and Turner and fellow offensive lineman Dallas Thomas were released earlier this week.

The Dolphins drafted Turner in the third round in 2014. He’s made 14 career starts.

The Ravens cut backup linebacker Chris Carter to make room on the roster for Turner.
